The product

The first pass of every data room, automated.

Between opening the data room and the first usable issues list lie weeks of reading. Argus IQ reverses the order: the machine reads everything first, the human judges what is worth judging.

Core

Issues list with sources

Every finding comes with severity, expected impact, a suggested next step and the literal source passage with a page reference. Verifying takes seconds, not a search.

"...entitled to terminate this agreement if control changes." · Framework agreement, p. 12
Report

Draft red flag report

Deal overview, analysed scope, findings per category and open questions, in a fixed format that is immediately usable in the deal process. The reviewer's starting point, not the final verdict.

Workflow

Reviewer in the loop

Confirm, reject or adjust, finding by finding. Argus IQ gives no legal advice; it provides the evidence, the professional decides. That keeps the quality where it belongs: with people.

How it works

Four agents, one report.

The first pass is a fixed chain of specialised agents. Every step produces verifiable intermediate results, so it is always visible why a finding exists.

Classification

Every document is given a type, a subcategory and a confidence score, across the full breadth of the data room.

Clause extraction

Targeted extraction of critical clause types, always with the exact passage and page reference.

Issue engine

Weighs extractions into issues along fixed playbooks: severity, expected impact and next step.

Reporting

Issues list and draft red flag report in a fixed format, ready for human review.

"Fixed taxonomy, fixed clauses, fixed issue types. No free-form legal analysis. The reviewer decides, Argus IQ provides the evidence."

Who it is for

Built for the side that sets the pace.

Private equity & corporate development

Buy-and-build means the same first pass, deal after deal. Turn it into a repeatable advantage: earlier sight of deal breakers, a sharper position during exclusivity.

First pass in minutes

M&A advisers & lawyers

Start where it gets interesting: at the judgement. Argus IQ does the reading of the first pass and puts the evidence next to every finding. You review, you accelerate, and you stay in control towards your client.

From practice

"I have read hundreds of data rooms. The material issues always sit in a handful of provisions, and still we read everything. That reading belongs with a machine, the judgement with us."

Built for trust

Deal data deserves the heaviest guard.

European soil

Models run on EU infrastructure. Deal data is processed within the EU and does not train third-party models.

ISO 27001 and 42001

Information security and responsible AI in a single control framework, in place from day one.

Separated per client

Every client gets its own shielded environment. Your deal data never shares a model with the counterparty.

No black box

Every finding carries its own evidence: document, page and literal passage.

An honest overview: this is where we stand today. We will publish certificates and policies here as soon as they are issued.

The horizon

What exists, and what is coming.

Argus IQ grows along a fixed line: first make the first pass impeccable, then the layers around it. This is the roadmap in outline; pilot partners help decide what takes priority.

Now

At launch

  • Automated first pass: classification, clause extraction and issue engine
  • Issues list with source passage and page reference per finding
  • Draft red flag report in a fixed format
  • Reviewer workflow: confirm, reject or adjust per finding
  • First playbooks: real estate and tenancy law, plus the core M&A clauses
Soon

Straight after

  • Missing documents engine: see which documents are absent before the counterparty does
  • Additional playbooks: commercial contracts, corporate housekeeping, debt and finance
  • Q&A support: draft answers with source references
  • Deal dashboard with progress and risk profile per category
  • Vendor readiness scan for sell-side processes
Beyond

On the horizon

  • Multilingual analysis (English and German)
  • Disclosure letter support
  • Post-closing: findings flow through into the 100-day plan
  • Integrations with leading data rooms
  • Private deployment inside your own environment

No promise inflation: what stands here is planned, not guaranteed. Pilot partners see the live roadmap and help steer it.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers to the questions you were going to ask anyway.

Is this legal advice?

No, emphatically not. Argus IQ delivers evidenced signals with source references; the weighing and the judgement always sit with your own advisers. That is why the reviewer workflow is not an extra but the core of the product.

Where is my deal data kept and who can reach it?

On EU infrastructure, in an environment separated per client. Your data trains no third-party models and never shares a model with the counterparty. We organise information security and responsible AI along ISO 27001 and ISO 42001.

How fast is the first pass?

Minutes to a few hours, depending on the size of the data room. The comparison that counts: a manual first pass easily takes two to four weeks of the most expensive hours in the process.

Does Argus IQ work with our existing data room?

Argus IQ is a reasoning layer on top of the data room, not a replacement for it. In pilots we arrange document delivery together; integrations with leading data rooms are on the roadmap.

What does it cost?

We will announce pricing at launch. Pilot partners start on pilot terms with a clear yardstick agreed up front: if the agreed quality is not met, it stops there.

How do we start?

Leave your details or book a conversation straight away. After that: a pilot on your own completed deals, where we compare the outcome blind against the original DD report. The result is a number, not an opinion.

Request a pilot

Are you interested?

The ground rules of a pilot

  • The yardstick is fixed in advance: recall, turnaround time and noise, agreed together.
  • One fixed pilot price, known in advance. No surprises afterwards.
  • If the pilot does not meet the agreed quality, it stops there.
  • The results and reports are and remain yours.

We use your details solely to contact you about Argus IQ. No newsletters, no reselling, deletion on request. See the privacy statement.
